The short version
- You can read this website without an account. It doesn't use cookies, analytics or ad trackers.
- If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address so we can tell you when we launch.
- What you type into a printable guide stays in your browser. It isn't saved or sent to us.
- We don't sell your information.
Who we are
WATCH UR PET runs watchurpet.com. In this policy, "we" and "us" means the operator of WATCH UR PET. You can reach us at support@watchurpet.com. This policy covers this website. Our app, when it launches, will have its own privacy policy.
The waitlist
When you join the waitlist, the form sends your email address to Formspree, the service that delivers form messages to us. We use your address only to email you about our launch. We don't share it with anyone else or use it for advertising.
To be removed from the list, email support@watchurpet.com and we'll delete your address. Formspree's handling of form messages is covered by its privacy policy.
Photos you email us
If you send pet photos to pets@watchurpet.com, we keep your email and photos so we can reply and, with your permission, feature your pets. We remove location data from every photo we post, and we'll take a photo down anytime you ask.
Printable guides
Some guides let you type into blanks before printing. That happens in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, saved or sent to us, and it's cleared when you close or reload the page.
Hosting and fonts
This site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's servers handle basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so they can deliver pages and keep the site running.
Our fonts come from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser asks Google for the font files, which shares your IP address with Google. Google's use of that information is covered by its privacy policy.
Amazon links and cookies
Some guides may link to products on Amazon. This site doesn't set cookies, but if you follow one of those links, Amazon may place cookies in your browser so it can tell that you came from us. If you then buy something, we may earn a commission. Amazon doesn't tell us who you are. Amazon's use of cookies is covered by Amazon's privacy notice. See our affiliate disclosure for more.
Other links
We link to other sites, such as Instagram and the sources in our guides. Their own privacy policies apply once you're there.
Children
This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
